After the disturbed sleep of the night before, we decided against an evening bus ride back to Cartegena, instead staying in our more picturesque hostel in Taganga instead. That said, these couple of days were all about planning and getting to Central America (hence the Americas, since we were also taking in the USA on our plane journeys!), so very little to tell.

In America, it's the small things
that make a difference!

But there are also some
big things around!!!

That said, we did take in Jamaica and Cuba on the flights, pretty cool to see (even if only from 35,000ft in the air!)

Key learnings:

1. Don’t book a flight with spirit airlines on a credit card you don’t have with you at the airport. We saw one very angry guy at the counter next to us forking out for a new ticket….

2. On that subject also ensure you prebook your bags, luckily we had otherwise you’re hit with a $100 fee per bag! Another airport, another incident...
